These raw vegan chocolate bars are divine! Hard to believe they’re gluten, dairy and refined sugar-free! The combination of chocolate, nuts, and dried fruit makes them so deliciously rich. When making raw recipes I always aim for organic ingredients where the individual taste of each ingredient is much more distinguishable.

🅘🅝🅖🅡🅔🅓🅘🅔🅝🅣🅢 ✅ 1 cup whole grain oat flour ✅ 3 tbsp pure chocolate powder ✅3 tbsp Coconut oil ✅ 2 handfuls of chopped almonds, hazelnuts, dried cranberries and apricots. ✅1 tbsp brown rice syrup from Cal Valls ✅1 tbsp agave syrup from Cal Valls

For the ganache topping:
✅ 2 tsp organic peanut butter
✅ 1 tsp Coconut oil
✅80g organic dark chocolate

1. I formed a dough by mixing these ingredients, and then I flattened the dough into a dish that is freezer-suitable.

2. Then place the chocolate dough mixture into the freezer for 15 minutes.

3. For the ganache I melted the chocolate, peanut butter, and coconut oil with a double boiling technique, then I poured the melted chocolate cream over the cold dough mixture.

4. I then popped it back into the fridge for approximately 1 hour.

4. Then I cut it into squares and it’s ready to enjoy, really that simple!

Believe it or not dark chocolate can provide some health benefits!

Chocolate (cocoa ) contains antioxidants which are compounds that can help prevent damage to the cells in your body. These antioxidants called flavonoids have several health benefits.

The darker the chocolate the higher the cocoa content than milk chocolate and the healthier it is. It can range from 50% to 99% cocoa, sticking around 70% – 85% is the best option.

It`s best to opt for chocolate that is low in sugar and high in cocoa, look out for dark chocolate with fruit and nuts for a healthier option, and enjoy it in moderation.

Many chocoholics believe in the power of chocolate as a mood enhancer.
