Biscuits vs Cookies

The first difference between English biscuits and cookies is how they are made. The word “cookie” originates from the Dutch word ‘Koekje’, meaning ‘little cake’.In contrast, the word “biscuit” comes from the Latin ‘bis’ (twice) and ‘coquere’ (cooked). It essentially means twice-baked!
