Adding roasted peppers to the classic hummus recipe is a wonderful way to spice up the hummus and is one of my favourites. I always prefer to roast my own but if you dont have the time most stores sell jars of roasted peppers. I am a chickpea fan and eat them most days for my protein intake but also beacuse I love the taste and texture of this extremley nutruious dip. The hummus itself is gluten-free and can be enjoyed with sticks of celery, carrot, beetroot or gluten-free crispbread.I topped thi one with pickled capers, homegrown arugula leaves and alfalfa.
