Not to mention it’s sugar free and so easy to make, it really is the perfect treat! The best vegan mince pies which are filled with a mixture of spices, dried and fresh fruit which is called “mincemeat”, and is traditionally served during the Christmas season in much of England. As a teenager I was afraid to eat these as I was conviced there was hidden meat inside due to it`s name. There is nothing like homemade mince pies and I like to make my own healthier pastry version using whole wheat and spelt flour. They turned out really delicious!
